Chicago is chock-full of quaint and cool little neighborhoods, and I've explored quite a few in the past three years I've lived here. My favorite spot to go to on the weekends is the area of Andersonville. Antique stores, vintage boutiques, cute cafes, and hip restaurants always make for an entertaining outing.
Despite the rising temperatures, I like to layer and I know this denim jacket is going to be a staple. I shy away from slogan t-shirts because my personality speaks for itself but since there is nothing better than black tights and a white shirt in this weather, I have to branch out so I picked up some graphic t-shirts from ZARA last summer.
You wouldn't like us when we're hangry.
If you find yourself in the Andersonville area, make sure to stop by the First Slice Pie Cafe for some of the finest French Silk pie, tuna sandwich, and 70s style salads (the pesto tortellini is AHMAZING) you can find in the cutest part of town.
Not only is the cafe absolutely adorable, they also help feed the homeless and hungry of Chicago. Now that's good food for your body and soul.
My T-shirt doesn't have an actual slogan but does say, "Add a graffiti", which is more of an imperative command than invitation in my book. And the asymmetrical hem paired up nicely with these white, asymmetrical flats I just bought.

I would totally rock my daughter, Zoe's outfit. She wore a forest green, cargo ZARA playsuit with nude flats and a floral headband from H&M to finish the look. We play by Coco Chanel's rules and keep our accessories to a minimum.
We did some serious posing after a quick lunch to prepare ourselves for an afternoon of Book Hunting.
She found a whole collection of American Girl stories in hardcover from the 90s and I found a German fairytale book.
Score.
