But really, isn't it nice to usher in sunny skies with a subtle nod to Mother Nature? Let us bloom and flourish...we are decked out in flowers and we are not going to take it (winter) anymore. Although this past Saturday I did my best to channel that laid-back, flower power, hippie child vibe, I am in all honesty too high-strung to truly embody that Coachella-esque vibe.
I am not a huge fan of nature. There are worms in the grass. There are bees in fields. Crazy birds. Centipedes. Escargot. Mud. And wading in streams? Fuggedaboutit. There are tiny water bugs, leeches, fish, and flesh eating diseases present.
But I digress, I wore this very Spring outfit because I finally found the perfect Spring staple, a cropped jean jacket. I'm very particular about the shade of my denim, so I was actually quite lucky to find this at J.Crew. I really wanted to wear this floral headband that I picked up at H&M, now normally I hate drawing attention to how small my head is but the very shy girl at checkout said she liked it on me...so I'm hopeful it's as cute as I think it is. My mom hates it though. I picked up this light pink/beige/peach-ish at Topshop and wore these flats I picked up from Forever 21 a few seasons ago.
I'm still over the top happy about this 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Mini Pashli - it's cute and easy to carry. Last I checked, it's selling for $695 on eBay, I'm terrible at math but I can tell you that's like at least 5x more than I paid. I hate people who go to these collaborations (just google Lanvin for H&M) with the sole purpose of buying in bulk to sell the items at astounding markups. Having said that, if you're really going to pay $700 for $50 bag, you're the problem.
